Freedom in Jesus: Kentucky Youth Share Their Faith Through Art Contest
Be inspired in faith by the unique insights of young people
As we celebrate the Independence of our country, the Kentucky Chapter of the Sacred Heart Youth Crusade is glad to present to you a showcase of creative talent that expresses what it means to be free in Jesus Christ.
This is the first time we have hosted something like this, and indeed our chapter is new, but I am overjoyed and amazed by the faith of these young people who participated.
They are inspirational not only to other youth, but to adults as well, and I commend them for using their talents for good.

Freedom in Jesus
Freedom in Jesus.
What does that mean?
Freedom for you, and freedom for me.
Free from worry,
Free from fear,
Free from pain,
He holds us near.
A freedom like you’ve never known.
Freedom for your body and for your soul.
How do you get this freedom? How can you really be free?
Accept Jesus into your life and truly believe.
Follow His commandments. Do as He says.
Repent from your sins. Better days are ahead.
Love your neighbors and your friends.
Tell them of this freedom that never ends.
I hope that now you can see,
Being free with Jesus is best for you and me.
